Wiseco W6453 Sport Compact MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Opel 88.0mm .074in

The Wiseco W6453 is a Sport Compact (SC) Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered for Opel engines with an 88.0mm bore and a compressed thickness of 0.074 inches. Designed for high-performance and motorsport applications, this gasket delivers the sealing reliability required in demanding, power-adder environments.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Construction: High-pressure steel-laminate design built to withstand extreme shear forces generated between aluminum cylinder heads and iron engine blocks
• Internal Embossments: Expand under heat to create a progressively tighter seal as combustion pressures and temperatures rise — ideal for turbocharged, supercharged, and high-compression builds
• 88.0mm Bore Diameter: Precision-matched for Opel engines at stock or mildly overbored specifications
• 0.074-Inch Compressed Thickness: Provides the correct compression ratio adjustment for performance engine builds
• 3-Layer Steel Design: Multiple steel layers offer the flexibility and resilience to accommodate engine movement and thermal expansion without compromising the seal
• Performance & Rebuild Ready: Suitable for engine rebuilds, compression increases, forced induction upgrades, and high-performance or racing applications

The Wiseco W6453 MLS head gasket is the preferred choice for builders who demand OEM-grade sealing integrity in a high-performance package. Whether you're building for the street or the track, this gasket provides the durability and precision needed to keep your Opel engine sealed under extreme conditions.
