Product Details

The Wiseco 6585M83 is a Pro Tru Sport Compact Series individual replacement forged piston, engineered for high-performance sport compact engine builds. Manufactured in Mentor, Ohio by skilled craftsmen using state-of-the-art forging presses and CNC machining equipment, this piston delivers race-proven durability and precision at an exceptional value.

Wiseco's Sport Compact Pro Tru line uses dedicated forgings specific to the final piston shape, eliminating excess material and unnecessary machining. The result is a piston that is stronger and lighter than comparable industry-standard castings — without the premium price of a full race-spec component.

Key Features:

  • Forged aluminum construction for superior strength and reduced weight
  • Precision CNC-machined to tight tolerances for minimal piston rock and long skirt life
  • Plasma moly ring package included — pre-gapped 1/16", 1/16", 3/16" rings for excellent combustion seal, reduced friction, and extended service life
  • Wrist pins included for a complete, ready-to-install assembly
  • Recommended ring set: 8300XX
  • Available in multiple compression volumes to allow precise compression ratio tuning
  • American made — forged and machined in Ohio

Whether building a street-driven sport compact or a dedicated performance engine, the Wiseco Pro Tru 6585M83 delivers the precision and reliability that Wiseco is known for worldwide. Sold as an individual replacement piston.

Best prices online! Ordered a JBA performance exhaust and Airaid intake system for my 06 F-150. Was hesitant at first because I never heard of them but ordering was a breeze and saved me over $100 total for two items compared to anywhere else. Had package at my door in about 24 hours and even selected normal UPS ground shipping. Very satisfied and will definitely return!

Autoplicity was plenty cheaper than competitors for the springs I needed. I was shopping around and left the website after beginning a transaction and they sent me a coupon for 25% off shipping if I would return and purchase from them, which was cool. Unfortunately the coupon code didn't change the price and I didn't receive 25% off, but it was still cheaper than others.
