Prothane 4-1206-BL Rear Strut Rod Bushing Kit Black Polyurethane

The Prothane 4-1206-BL is a rear strut rod bushing kit crafted from premium-grade polyurethane, engineered as a direct performance upgrade over the factory rubber components. Strut rods play a critical role in maintaining proper rear suspension geometry under the dynamic loads created by acceleration, braking, and cornering — and worn or degraded bushings compromise that geometry significantly.

Prothane's polyurethane material is substantially firmer than OEM rubber, reducing unwanted bushing flex that causes alignment deviation and vague handling. Unlike rubber, polyurethane resists breakdown from oil, road contaminants, and physical wear, delivering long-term durability that outlasts factory components.

Key Features:

• Premium polyurethane construction — firmer and more durable than OEM rubber
• Resists oil, grease, road grime, and environmental degradation
• Precision-fabricated for a direct-fit, no-modification installation
• Includes grease/lubricant for quiet, squeak-free operation
• Black finish for a clean, understated appearance
• Restores proper rear suspension alignment and geometry
• Significant upgrade over deteriorated factory rubber bushings

This kit is designed for the rear strut rod location and includes all necessary components for a complete bushing replacement. Includes Prothane's specially formulated super grease to ensure smooth, quiet operation after installation.
