The Cometic C5912-027 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Ford Windsor V8 engines equipped with AFR (Air Flow Research) cylinder heads. This gasket features a compressed thickness of .027 inches and is designed for a 4.155-inch bore diameter, making it ideal for performance builds and applications requiring precise sealing.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme conditions
• .027-inch compressed gasket thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
• 4.155-inch bore diameter accommodates performance overbore applications
• Specifically designed for use with AFR cylinder heads on Ford Windsor V8 engines
• Multiple layers of stainless steel with elastomeric coatings ensure optimal sealing
• Exceeds OEM specifications for high-performance and racing applications

Cometic MLS gaskets are the preferred choice of engine builders and performance enthusiasts worldwide. The multi-layer steel design allows the gasket to recover and maintain sealing pressure through thermal expansion cycles, while resisting blowout and leakage better than traditional composite gaskets. This gasket is perfect for naturally aspirated, supercharged, or turbocharged applications where reliability is critical.
