ACL Bearings 5M909P-50 Duraglide Main Bearing Set Small Block Chevy

The ACL Bearings 5M909P-50 is a Duraglide main bearing set designed for Small Block Chevy engines with crankshafts that have been machined undersize. This bearing set features tri-metal construction that provides a softer bearing material to protect your crankshaft and engine block from excessive wear.

Key Features:

• Tri-metal Duraglide construction for superior durability
• 0.50mm (0.020") undersize for machined crankshafts
• Designed for Small Block Chevy V8 engines (267, 305, 327, 350 ci)
• Complete main bearing set for full engine rebuild
• Half-groove design for optimal oil distribution

A thin layer of oil lubricates the connection between the bearings and crankshaft, allowing the crank to "float" and reduce wear. Proper main bearing support is crucial to prevent oscillations and wear that can damage the crankshaft and other engine components. The undersize specification makes this bearing set ideal for engines with crankshafts that have been turned down during reconditioning or performance builds.

ACL Bearings are trusted by professional engine builders and performance enthusiasts for their precision manufacturing, consistent quality, and ability to withstand demanding applications. Whether you're rebuilding a classic Small Block Chevy or building a performance engine, these main bearings provide the reliability and protection your engine needs.
