Product Details

The ACL Bearings 4M1842-.50 is a high-quality oversized main bearing set designed for precision engine rebuilds. This set features 0.50mm (0.020") oversized outer diameter dimensions, specifically engineered for engine blocks that have been line bored or machined to accommodate the larger bearing housing bore.

Key Features:

  • 0.50mm oversized outer diameter for machined engine blocks
  • Precision-manufactured aluminum bearing material for modern engine requirements
  • Hardened steel backing provides superior crush resistance under high loads and temperatures
  • Micron-tolerance machining ensures consistent wall thickness and proper crush
  • Optimized oil distribution grooves for effective lubrication
  • Complete main bearing set for comprehensive crankshaft support

ACL Bearings has over 70 years of experience manufacturing precision engine bearings in Tasmania, Australia, serving both OEM and aftermarket applications. These bearings are manufactured to exacting tolerances to ensure reliable fit and consistent clearances. The oversized design compensates for material removed during block machining, restoring proper bearing-to-housing interference fit for optimal engine performance and durability.

Great price and fair shipping rates....so far so good!

I ordered a set of inner tie rods for my car from Autoplicity and found their prices to be the lowest online for the brand I was looking for. Items were ship out in 2 business days from the original manufacturer. Shipping prices were kind of on the expensive end considering the package size and weight so if Autoplicity adjust their shipping prices to be more competitive, I think their service and pricing would be hard to beat!

I was very pleased with my transaction with Autoplicity. My order was shipped the next day and received the following day. The pricing was also the best I could find. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend them to others.

very nice to deal with even though i received the wrong part in the right box

Super easy and quick
