Cometic C5455-060 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket for Chrysler Gen-2 Hemi 4.310" Bore

The Cometic C5455-060 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for Chrysler Gen-2 Hemi engines. This high-performance gasket features a .060" (1.52mm) compressed thickness and a 4.310" bore diameter, making it ideal for modified and high-output applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• .060" compressed gasket thickness for increased compression or deck clearance
• 4.310" bore diameter optimized for Gen-2 Hemi applications
• Engineered to withstand extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures
• Provides excellent recovery and conformability to sealing surfaces
• Compatible with aluminum and iron cylinder heads

Cometic's MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with elastomeric coatings to create a superior seal that handles thermal expansion and contraction better than traditional composite gaskets. The gasket's design ensures consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface, reducing the risk of head lifting and combustion gas leakage in demanding performance applications. This gasket is a direct replacement for stock head gaskets on Chrysler Gen-2 Hemi engines including the 5.7L and 6.1L variants.
