Cometic C5331-070 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Chevy Big Block Mark IV 4.630" Bore .070"

The Cometic C5331-070 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chevrolet Mark IV Big Block V8 engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features a 4.630-inch bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .070 inches, providing an excellent balance of sealing capability and compression ratio adjustment.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability under extreme conditions
• 4.630-inch bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly over-bored big block cylinders
• .070-inch compressed thickness allows for compression ratio fine-tuning
• Advanced coating technology ensures optimal seal between head and block surfaces
• Engineered to withstand high cylinder pressures in performance and racing applications
• Resists gasket failure from thermal expansion and extreme combustion temperatures

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with precision-engineered embossments that provide even load distribution across the sealing surface. The gasket's construction allows for minor surface imperfections while maintaining a positive seal, making it ideal for both street performance and competition engines. Perfect for engine builders seeking reliable head sealing in high-horsepower big block Chevrolet applications.
