Product Details

The ARP 155-5404 Main Stud Kit is specifically engineered for Ford FE engines, providing superior clamping force and reliability for high-performance and racing applications. This kit includes premium-grade main studs for caps 1-4 and bolts specifically designed for the #5 cap, addressing the unique requirements of the Ford FE block design.

Key Features:

  • Manufactured from ARP's premium 8740 chromoly steel for exceptional tensile strength
  • Includes main studs for caps 1-4 and specially designed bolts for #5 cap
  • Provides significantly higher clamping force than factory hardware
  • Heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength for maximum durability
  • Precision CNC-machined threads rolled after heat-treat for superior fatigue resistance
  • Includes hardened parallel-ground washers and ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant

ARP main studs are essential for any performance Ford FE build, particularly those running high horsepower, nitrous oxide, forced induction, or high RPM applications. The superior thread engagement and clamping force help prevent main cap walk and ensure main bearing stability under extreme loads.

The ordering process was simple and user friendly. The pricing was the lowest I could find for a brand new AMP Powerstep for my Ford F150. The tracking number was provided and the item is scheduled for FedEx ground delivery in 3-days.
