Product Details

The Cometic C4194-045 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket specifically engineered for Honda B Series hybrid engine builds utilizing a VTEC cylinder head with a non-VTEC block. This precision gasket features an 85mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .045 inches, making it ideal for performance applications and engine rebuilds.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under high heat and pressure
  • Designed specifically for B Series VTEC head/non-VTEC block hybrid configurations
  • 85mm bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly overbored cylinders
  • .045" compressed thickness allows for optimal compression ratio tuning
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with viton rubber coating ensure excellent sealing properties
  • Engineered to handle high-performance and forced induction applications

Cometic Gaskets are manufactured using advanced materials and computer-aided design to deliver race-proven reliability for street and competition engines. This gasket eliminates the compatibility issues that arise when mating VTEC and non-VTEC B Series components, providing a reliable seal for this popular Honda performance engine combination.
