Product Details

The Manley 42283 is a premium cylinder head stud kit specifically engineered for Big Block Chevy (BBC) engines equipped with Dart cylinder heads. These high-strength studs provide superior clamping force and head gasket sealing compared to standard head bolts, making them essential for high-performance and racing applications.

Key Features:

  • Designed specifically for BBC engines with Dart aftermarket cylinder heads
  • High-tensile strength material for maximum clamping force and reliability
  • Provides more consistent torque loading than traditional head bolts
  • Reduces head lift and gasket failure in high-boost and high-compression applications
  • Allows for easier cylinder head removal and installation during engine service
  • Precision-manufactured to Manley's exacting quality standards

Manley Performance Products has been a trusted name in engine components for decades, and these cylinder head studs deliver the durability and performance that engine builders and racers demand. The stud design ensures that the threads in the block are not stressed during installation, extending engine life and improving head gasket reliability.
