Product Details

The Cusco 187 511 A Type AS rear strut tower brace is a lightweight chassis reinforcement component designed to enhance handling performance and stability for the Toyota Aristo JZS160/JZS161 and Lexus GS300. This brace connects the rear strut towers to minimize body flex and maintain proper suspension geometry during aggressive cornering and high-load driving conditions.

Key Features:

  • Type AS design featuring a slim, hollow aluminum center shaft for optimal rigidity without excess weight
  • Steel end plate brackets finished in signature Cusco blue for precise vehicle-specific fitment
  • Reduces rear-end body roll and chassis flex during cornering
  • Improves suspension response and driver confidence at speed
  • Simple bolt-on installation to upper rear strut tower mounting points
  • Includes Cusco branding and protective cable wrap for potential line interference

This strut tower brace is specifically engineered for the 1997-2004 Toyota Aristo JZS160/JZS161 (2WD with 3.0L turbo and non-turbo engines) and corresponding Lexus GS300 models. The Type AS series represents Cusco's lightweight approach to chassis stiffening, using a hollow aluminum shaft construction that delivers excellent rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum. By connecting both rear strut towers, this brace prevents the misalignment of suspension mounting points under high cornering loads, resulting in improved handling response and more predictable vehicle dynamics.

Note: Some rear trim processing may be necessary for installation on JZS160 models.

Simple. Easy shopping

Excellent deal!!! I was not able to find a better price anywhere. Fast shipping & just what I wanted.

I just installed the Husky WeatherBeater floor liners and they are EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Not only was the price almost half of what I found from Walmart, but I received it about a week earlier than promised. I will be back here for all of my auto parts from now on. Thanks so much!!

Don't know yet. You haven't a chance to mess any thing up yet.

I need this for tomorrow. Thanks!

I have no comment right now. 1st timer

Good I hope to do more business

Great company... Good customer support. I will shop with them again.

Price was the lowest for the product that I wanted. That's including shipping price, which was still cheaper. Will definitely look into other products from them.
