Cusco 680 492 FM Power Brace Front Member Chassis Reinforcement Bar

The Cusco 680 492 FM Power Brace Front Member is a precision-engineered chassis reinforcement component designed to improve handling performance and structural rigidity. Developed by Cusco's chassis engineers using data from motorsports research, this front member brace strengthens the chassis and minimizes body flex during high cornering loads, enabling optimal suspension movement while maintaining the intended suspension geometry.

Key Features:

• Tubular oval construction with 1.6mm wall thickness for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
• Powder coated in classic Cusco blue finish for corrosion resistance and durability
• Bolt-on installation using factory holes and mounting points
• Completely reversible application requiring no drilling or permanent modifications
• Engineered using state-of-the-art chassis stress test simulation software
• Lightweight steel construction that doesn't compromise vehicle dynamics

This power brace provides the same chassis stiffening effect as stitch welding while maintaining a completely bolt-on design. By firmly connecting and reinforcing key suspension mounting points, the brace reduces chassis flex and deflection under harsh driving conditions, resulting in more predictable handling characteristics, improved steering response, and enhanced driver confidence. The increased chassis rigidity also helps extend the lifespan of suspension components by reducing stress and wear on mounting points. May require minor trimming of under covers or interior panels for proper fitment.
