The Cusco 697 561 ALHD is a brake master cylinder stopper (also called a brake cylinder stopper or master cylinder brace). It is designed to stabilize the brake master cylinder. Under hard braking, hydraulic pressure and pedal force make the firewall sheet metal flex, and the master cylinder moves with it. The stopper reduces that movement.
