Cusco LSD 454 A Type RS Limited Slip Differential Front

The Cusco LSD 454 A is a Type RS limited slip differential designed for high-performance street and competition applications. This clutch-type LSD features Cusco's innovative spring technology that provides lower initial torque compared to traditional cone plate designs, resulting in smoother engagement and reduced differential noise while maintaining exceptional durability.

Key Features:

• Type RS design with coil spring actuation for gentle, progressive torque application
• Clutch-type mechanical LSD with radially-cut grooves for instant oil movement
• Chromoly steel casing and forged internal gears for extreme durability
• Exclusive Oil Through System for superior lubrication and cooling
• Adjustable cam angle settings without additional parts required
• Initial torque 50-70% lower than conventional cone plate LSDs
• Polished pressure ring surfaces for even clutch plate contact
• Available in 1-way, 1.5-way, and 2-way configurations

The Type RS model is ideal for street-driven performance vehicles, offering smooth operation during normal driving while providing aggressive traction control under hard acceleration. The unit efficiently distributes torque from the wheel with less grip to the wheel with more traction, dramatically improving cornering performance and stability. Manufactured in Japan with precision forged components and tested in competition environments including the All Japan Gymkhana Championship.
