Cusco LSD 317 DGA Type RS Limited Slip Differential

The Cusco LSD 317 DGA is a Type RS mechanical limited slip differential engineered for high-performance street and sport driving applications. Manufactured in Japan using Cusco's proprietary chromoly steel construction, this LSD delivers superior traction control by efficiently distributing torque between wheels with varying grip levels.

Type RS Design Benefits:

• Coil spring-activated pressure system provides smooth, progressive engagement
• 50-70% lower initial torque compared to cone-plate LSDs for reduced friction and better response
• Exclusive Oil Through System enables optimal lubrication flow through pressure rings and clutch plates
• Radially-cut clutch plate grooves for instant oil movement and improved durability
• Polished pressure ring contact surfaces ensure even clutch plate engagement
• Proven competition-grade reliability without requiring mid-season overhauls

Adjustable Cam Angle System: Features dual cam angle settings in one unit, allowing you to customize locking characteristics by adjusting clutch plate stack arrangement without purchasing additional parts. The low initial torque design enables smooth cornering even when the LSD mechanism is not fully activated, making it ideal for vehicles that see both street and track use.

This direct replacement differential converts open differential vehicles to limited slip operation, eliminating uneven power distribution and preventing wheel spin during aggressive acceleration and cornering. Compatible with 75W-90 LSD-specific differential oil for optimal performance.
