Cusco HBD 985 A Hybrid Limited Slip Differential 1-Way Rear LSD

The Cusco HBD 985 A Hybrid Limited Slip Differential is a high-performance rear differential engineered for demanding driving conditions. This Japanese-manufactured LSD combines advanced engineering with proven motorsport technology to deliver superior traction and handling performance.

Key Features:

• Billet chromoly steel case construction for exceptional strength and durability
• 1-way configuration optimized for rear differential applications
• 24-plate clutch pack assembly for improved torque distribution during hard cornering
• Hybrid design combining Type MZ and Type RS technologies with outer cone and inner coil spring system
• Oil Through System for enhanced lubrication and cooling efficiency
• Radially-cut clutch plate grooves for instant oil movement and improved longevity
• Lower initial torque design ideal for mid to high-power vehicles
• Polished pressure ring contact surface for even friction plate engagement

The Hybrid differential features the smallest initial torque of all Cusco LSD types due to its larger diameter coil spring design, providing excellent drivetrain durability while maintaining precise control during sharp cornering and aggressive driving. The 1-way design activates during acceleration, making it particularly well-suited for rear-wheel drive and AWD rear axle applications. Manufactured in Japan with Cusco's racing heritage and quality standards.
