Cusco LSD 169 K2 Type-MZ Limited Slip Differential 2-Way Rear

The Cusco LSD 169 K2 is a Type-MZ limited slip differential designed for the rear axle of Nissan Skyline GT-R models, engineered to deliver superior traction and handling performance. The Type MZ LSD has been developed for smooth torque delivery that can handle high levels of power and is most suited to race vehicles.

Key Features:

• 2-way configuration (1.5 & 2-way) with 55/55 degree ramp angles for maximum control during acceleration and deceleration
• Uses improved forged parts with Oil Through System for enhanced durability and cooling
• Features ten clutch plates (five per side) for increased LSD performance compared to standard models
• Less aggressive initial torque behavior compared to the Type RS model, providing smoother engagement
• Configurable between 1.5-way and 2-way settings with simple overhaul

Type MZ Technology:

The Type MZ features the highest rated initial torque among Cusco LSD models due to high-pressure cone springs which engage full clutch pack lock at a linear rate. This design enables better response to high power with higher durability, making it ideal for competitive motorsports and aggressive street driving.

The 2-way configuration is recommended for rear-wheel drive cars and AWD rear axle applications, activating on both acceleration and deceleration, making it perfect for aggressive driving and big-angle drifting. Professional installation and proper LSD oil are required for optimal performance and longevity.
