Cusco LSD HY1 K2 Type-MZ 2-Way Limited Slip Differential

The Cusco LSD HY1 K2 is a high-performance Type-MZ limited slip differential designed for rear-wheel drive applications. This unit features an innovative cone spring design that delivers the highest initial torque rating in Cusco's LSD lineup, providing aggressive engagement and maximum traction for track use and drifting.

Type-MZ Technology:

• Cone spring design creates activation pressure opposing the initial torque direction
• Linear engagement rate provides full clutch pack lock under load
• Highest initial torque rating of any Cusco LSD model for immediate response
• Exclusive Oil Through System enhances circulation to critical areas

Adjustable Dual-Profile Pressure Ring:

• Switch between 1.5-way and 2-way configurations without additional parts
• 2-way mode activates on both acceleration and deceleration for aggressive driving and drifting
• 1.5-way mode reduces understeer on deceleration while maintaining acceleration lock
• Adjustable locking characteristics through clutch plate stack customization

Performance Features:

• Radially-cut clutch plate grooves enable instant oil movement for improved efficiency
• Polished pressure ring contact surface ensures even clutch plate engagement
• Maximizes traction by forcing both wheels to spin at equal rates
• Ideal for high-speed track use, time attack, and drift applications

The Type-MZ differential is engineered for serious performance enthusiasts who demand maximum traction and predictable behavior under extreme driving conditions.
