Product Details

The Cusco LSD 120 B is a high-performance Type MZ mechanical limited slip differential designed for racing and aggressive street applications. This clutch-type LSD delivers superior traction and power distribution compared to factory viscous or open differentials, making it ideal for motorsports enthusiasts seeking maximum performance.

Type MZ Design Features:

  • Cone spring design creates opposing activation pressure for high initial torque engagement
  • Features the highest initial torque rating of all Cusco LSD models for aggressive response
  • Ten clutch plates per side (increased from eight) for enhanced durability and LSD performance
  • Dual-profile pressure ring allows switching between 1 Way and 1.5 Way configurations without additional parts
  • Radially-cut clutch plate grooves enable instant oil movement for improved efficiency and longevity
  • Exclusive Cusco Oil Through System provides pressurized oil circulation to all critical components

Configuration Options:

  • 1 Way: Activates under acceleration only; ideal for front-wheel drive and AWD front axles
  • 1.5 Way: Activates under acceleration with reduced deceleration engagement; minimizes understeer

Engineered and manufactured in Japan to Cusco's exacting standards, the Type MZ LSD is designed as a direct replacement for vehicles originally equipped with viscous coupling differentials. Professional installation is recommended, and some applications may require specific side shafts for proper operation.
