Product Details

The Cusco LSD 986 LT15/LT2 is a high-performance Type RS limited slip differential designed specifically for Subaru BRZ and Scion/Toyota FR-S applications. This advanced LSD features a cam-type design with a 60% locking rate for aggressive performance driving and drifting applications.

Key Features:

  • Type RS cam-style limited slip differential with 60% lock preset
  • Dual configuration options: 1.5-way (55/20) or 2-way (55/55) operation
  • Initial torque rating of 7-9 kg-m (approximately 50-65 ft-lbs) for optimal engagement
  • Precision-engineered cam mechanism provides consistent lockup characteristics
  • Enhanced traction during acceleration and corner exit
  • Designed for street performance, track use, and drifting applications
  • Direct bolt-in replacement for factory differential

The 1.5-way configuration (55/20) provides strong locking under acceleration (55%) with reduced lock during deceleration (20%), ideal for street and track use. The 2-way configuration (55/55) offers equal locking in both acceleration and deceleration for maximum control in competitive drifting. This unit must be specified for your specific FRS/BRZ application at time of order.

Ordered a Thule ski rack. Best price on the web. Prompt delivery as promised, however, did not get shipping email and tracking no until after delivery was already made. The customer service that I experienced trying to get info on delivery was less than desirable. Four stars o ly.
