Product Details

The Wiseco K563M82AP forged piston set is engineered specifically for Volkswagen 1.8-liter turbocharged 5-valve engines. These high-performance pistons feature an 82mm bore diameter with a -7cc dished design that reduces compression ratio for boosted applications, making them ideal for turbocharged builds requiring lower static compression.

Key Features:

  • 82mm bore diameter for optimal cylinder fit
  • -7cc dished piston top reduces compression for turbocharged applications
  • Forged aluminum construction for superior strength and heat resistance
  • Designed specifically for VW 1.8T 5-valve engines
  • Complete piston set for full engine rebuild
  • Precision-machined ring grooves for proper ring seal
  • ArmorGlide skirt coating reduces friction and wear

Wiseco pistons are manufactured in the USA using advanced forging processes that create a denser, stronger piston structure compared to cast designs. The dished crown design allows enthusiasts to run higher boost pressures safely while maintaining appropriate compression ratios for forced induction applications. This piston set includes rings, pins, and clips for a complete installation.
