Product Details

The Wiseco Pistons K0077XS is a high-performance forged piston kit engineered specifically for nitrous oxide applications in Ford 4.6L 3-valve V8 engines. This kit features Wiseco's advanced Nitrous Top Ring Down design, which positions the top ring lower in the piston to provide enhanced strength and durability under the extreme pressures generated by nitrous injection systems.

Key Specifications:

  • Bore Size: 3.552 inches
  • Compression Ratio: 8.5:1
  • Dome Volume: -160cc (dish)
  • Application: Ford 4.6L 3-Valve V8 engines
  • Construction: Forged aluminum alloy
  • Ring Configuration: Nitrous Top Ring Down design

Features and Benefits:

  • Forged construction provides superior strength compared to cast pistons
  • Nitrous-specific ring land configuration handles extreme cylinder pressures
  • Lower compression ratio optimized for forced induction and nitrous applications
  • Precision machined to exact tolerances for reliable performance
  • Designed to work with factory connecting rods and crankshaft

Wiseco's forged pistons are manufactured in the USA using advanced aerospace-grade aluminum alloys and computer-controlled CNC machining. The Nitrous Top Ring Down design relocates the top compression ring to a more protected position, reducing the risk of ring land failure during high-boost or nitrous-assisted operation. The 8.5:1 compression ratio provides a safe foundation for significant power increases while maintaining detonation resistance.
