The Wiseco K0087X2 is a complete forged piston and ring kit engineered specifically for Ford 4.6L engines with 2-valve PI (Performance Improved) or NPI (Non-Performance Improved) cylinder heads. This high-performance piston set features a -13cc dish design with a 3.572-inch bore diameter, delivering a 10.0:1 compression ratio when used with standard 42cc 2V PI combustion chambers.

Built with an in-board forging and strutted skirt design, these pistons are engineered to handle significant boost and nitrous applications. The forged construction provides superior strength and durability compared to cast pistons, making them ideal for forced induction and high-output naturally aspirated builds. Each piston features Wiseco's proprietary ArmorGlide skirt coating for seizure resistance, reduced friction, and quieter operation.

Key features include a 0.300-inch down top ring location, thick skirts with reinforcing struts for enhanced stability under extreme loads, and precision-machined ring lands for optimal ring seal. The pistons are paired with Wiseco's premium GNX ring set, which includes a gas-nitrided steel top ring capable of withstanding high cylinder pressures, a Napier second ring for improved oil control, and a three-piece oil ring assembly.
