The Wiseco GLS50 Groove Lock Spacer is a precision-engineered oil rail support component designed for high-performance engine builds. This dimpled spacer is essential for applications where the piston oil ring groove intersects with the wrist pin bore, commonly found in stroker builds or engines with short compression heights due to large strokes or long connecting rod lengths.

Made from durable spring steel, this groove lock spacer installs in the oil ring groove before the oil ring assembly. The unique dimpled design locks into place over the wrist pin bore opening, preventing the oil ring end gaps from rotating and falling into the pin bore. This ensures proper oil control and prevents potential engine damage from oil ring migration during operation.

Technical Notes: This oil rail support can only be used with pistons that have an oil ring groove machined 0.030 inches wider than the oil ring. The spacer is installed against the bottom sill of the oil ring groove with the dimple oriented downward over the wrist pin hole, positioning the ring end gap 90 degrees from the wrist pin hole.

Easy online ordering

Order arrived 1 day sooner than expected with correct components. Did get multiple duplicate e-mails confirming order but when I e-mailed customer service to make sure my order was correct and charged appropriately they replied within a few hours. Overall I was pleased with price and service.
