I received original factory parts and paid less than the bobo brand carquest, O'Reilly, autozone, and advanced auto sell. Being factory original everything simply unplugged and went Right back together! Very pleased!!! Not to mention I saved $200 on just the one item!! Found what I needed at price that is OK.

This system is a nice alternative to many on the market. It is reasonably complete for a factory F-body and the pipes actually fit the contour of the frame, rear axle, and exits.It installed with a nice fit as well. A couple of issues with Pypes kit in general: Parts markings on individual components do NOT match diagrams (A-F is inconsistent between the two) The muffler hangers are weak-after a week of holding the rear system up, tears are present. Flanges for down pipes were pushed out too far, requiring triming in order to fit into the flange receptacle on the OEM exhaust manifold. Pypes provides conventional (cheap) exhaust clamps in lieu of stainless band clamps for this stainless system....guess they presume most will TIG the joints and toss the clamps - not for everybody. For the Pontiac F-body, you are required to buy additional extensions to add on the factory splitter tips. There is no description or diagram to address what part of the existing over the axle pipe should be retained or be removed in order to add the exhaust tip extensions and tips themselves. Pictures or an illustration would be immensely helpful. Overall, this set is better than most, but could easily be improved upon by the folks at Pypes with a little more attention to detail.
