Product Details

The Cusco BM0 492 F Front Power Brace is a performance chassis reinforcement component designed specifically for the 2002-2006 Mini Cooper S (R53 chassis). Developed by Cusco's chassis engineers using data from motorsports research, this power brace strengthens the front underbody structure and minimizes body flex during high cornering loads.

Key Features:

  • Reduces chassis flex and improves body rigidity for enhanced handling precision
  • Enables optimal suspension geometry alignment under load for consistent performance
  • Bolt-on installation design utilizing factory mounting points
  • Provides similar chassis stiffening benefits as stitch welding without permanent modification
  • Engineered specifically for Mini Cooper S R53 and RE16 chassis codes
  • Effective on both stock and modified vehicles

This power brace connects key structural points of the front chassis to create a more rigid platform, allowing your suspension components to work as intended without chassis deflection. The result is improved steering response, better cornering stability, and more predictable handling characteristics. Installation may require minor trimming of undercovers or interior panels for proper fitment.
