Product Details

The Zone Offroad J8401 Dropped Pitman Arm is an essential steering geometry correction component designed specifically for lifted Jeep CJ5 (1976-1983) and CJ7 (1976-1986) vehicles. This heavy-duty, one-piece forged pitman arm features a 4-1/4 inch drop to restore proper steering alignment after installing a suspension lift kit.

Key Features:

  • One-piece forged construction for maximum strength and durability
  • 4-1/4 inch drop design corrects drag link angles after lift installation
  • Reduces bump steer and improves handling by matching track bar angle
  • Heavy-duty construction built to withstand on-road and off-road conditions
  • Manufactured in the USA with premium materials
  • Backed by Zone Offroad's limited lifetime warranty

Proper steering geometry is critical when adding a suspension lift to your Jeep. This dropped pitman arm eliminates the excessive drag link angles that occur with lifted suspensions, restoring precise steering response and reducing unwanted bump steer. The heavy-duty forged design ensures long-lasting performance even in demanding off-road environments.
