Product Details

The Cometic EX007042AM is a premium .042-inch thick exhaust gasket featuring Armor Clad construction for superior sealing performance in high-temperature exhaust applications. This gasket is engineered to provide a reliable seal between exhaust manifold and cylinder head connections, preventing leaks and maintaining proper exhaust system function.

Key Features:

  • Armor Clad construction combines a stainless steel core with embossed aluminum layers for exceptional heat resistance and conformability
  • .042-inch (1.07mm) thickness provides optimal compression and sealing
  • Withstands extreme exhaust temperatures and pressure cycling
  • Embossed layers conform to imperfect sealing surfaces for superior leak prevention
  • Durable stainless steel core resists corrosion and blowout
  • Precision-manufactured to OEM specifications for reliable fitment

Cometic's Armor Clad gaskets are trusted by professional engine builders and performance enthusiasts for their proven ability to maintain seal integrity under demanding conditions.
