Product Details

The ARP 145-5603 is a premium main stud kit designed for 4-bolt main Chrysler World Hemi and RB Wedge block engines, manufactured from 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated to 190,000 PSI tensile strength. This kit eliminates main cap walk and fretting while protecting the threads in your engine block.

Key Features:

  • 8740 chromoly steel construction with in-house heat treating to 190,000 PSI tensile strength
  • Studs provide more accurate torque readings than bolts because they don't twist into the block
  • Precision J-form threads rolled after heat-treat create fasteners with threads 2000% stronger than conventional fasteners
  • Complete kit includes hardened parallel-ground washers and high-quality nuts
  • Ensures easier engine assembly and proper main cap alignment
  • Designed specifically for 4-bolt main World Hemi and RB Wedge block engines

Some applications include provisions for mounting windage trays with specially designed standoff studs and serrated lock nuts to position and secure the windage tray in place. ARP main stud kits are the preferred choice of professional engine builders for high-performance and racing applications where reliability and precision are critical.
