The Garrett 763527-0712 Turbo Vane Position Sensor is a genuine OEM replacement sensor designed to restore proper turbocharger operation in GM 6.6L Duramax diesel engines. This critical sensor continuously monitors the position of the variable geometry turbo (VGT) vanes and communicates this information to the engine control module (ECM) for precise boost control and optimal engine performance.

What It Does:

The vane position sensor plays a vital role in VGT turbocharger operation by allowing the ECM to regulate turbocharger geometry and boost levels accurately. This ensures optimal engine performance, improved throttle response, reduced turbo lag, and helps maintain proper emissions control through optimized combustion and EGR processes. When this sensor fails, symptoms may include loss of power at low or high RPM, black smoke, check engine lights, or the turbo vanes becoming stuck in a single position.

Important Note: 2004.5-2005 LLY models require a separate wire harness adapter (not included) due to a GM design change. This sensor replaces GM part numbers 12643471, 12635324, 98011739, 98061570, and Dorman 904-235.

Only issue I had was that order could not be completed on Amazon, stating "items cannot ship to your location." I simply went to your website and ordered items. So a little inconvenient, but no biggie.

I was looking around for a specific set of springs for my car for a good deal. I finally stumbled upon Autoplicity and found my lowest price. I called in to get more information about my order and the customer service was reliable and friendly. I will definitely do business with this site again. I would also like to say that my order was out of stock a day before I ordered. Even so, my springs will be here shortly.

I was searching for brake rotors on the Internet for over 3 hours tring to find the best prices-- Autoplicity beat everyone hands down! The best deals out there. Quick response and my order shipped within one business day! Bravo. <br><br>Their website could be improved by auto selecting make/model combinations. I had to double check the part numbers for the pads..they matched the rear pads with the front rotors. I only caught this due to the fact that the pads were extremely cheap..too cheap. The low price was for the rear set as front pads usually at more expensive due to their larger size.
