Product Details

The ACL Bearings 4B1141-.50 is a high-performance connecting rod bearing set designed for engines with crankshafts reground 0.50mm (.020") undersize. This precision-engineered bearing set features ACL's race-proven trimetal construction, combining lead, tin, copper, and nickel alloys for superior strength and seizure resistance under demanding conditions.

Key Features:

  • High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue resistance
  • Hardened steel backing on all rod bearings for enhanced support and bearing retention
  • Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
  • Elimination of flash plating on bearing backs to maximize heat transfer and housing grip
  • Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in hydrodynamic oil film formation
  • Designed for high-performance and racing applications requiring higher RPM capability

ACL Race Series bearings are engineered with the unique combination of design, metallurgy, and precision manufacturing that engine builders trust for high-performance builds. These connecting rod bearings are specifically sized for crankshafts that have been ground 0.50mm undersize during reconditioning.
