Metra RTN17 Chime Retention Interface for Select Nissan Vehicles

The Metra RTN17 is a chime retention interface designed to preserve factory warning chimes, door ajar tones, and other vehicle alert sounds when replacing the OEM radio with an aftermarket head unit. Without this interface, removing the factory radio on select Nissan vehicles can result in the loss of important audible alerts that are routed through the factory stereo system.

Key Features:

• Retains factory chimes and warning tones after aftermarket radio installation
• Plug-and-play design for straightforward, no-cut installation
• Connects between the factory harness and the aftermarket receiver
• Maintains OEM audio alert functionality without modifying factory wiring
• Compatible with select Nissan vehicles equipped with chime-through-radio systems
• Engineered and manufactured by Metra Electronics, a leading authority in car audio installation accessories

The RTN17 is an essential add-on for a clean, professional aftermarket radio installation in applicable Nissan vehicles where factory chimes are dependent on the OEM head unit. Pair with the appropriate Metra wiring harness and dash kit for a complete installation solution.
