Product Details

The QA1 AML3 is a lightweight AM Series aluminum male rod end featuring a left-hand 10-32 thread and a 3/16 in. bore. Engineered for performance and racing applications, this rod end uses a unique loader-slot body design to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, making it an ideal choice for suspension links, control arms, clutch linkages, and other high-stress connections.

  • Self-lubricating & self-sealing race: Reinforced Nylon 12 with PTFE liner keeps dirt and debris out while eliminating the need for routine greasing
  • More than 10% lighter than traditional three-piece aluminum rod ends
  • Most wear-resistant aluminum design available — loader-slot body provides increased cross-sectional thickness for greater tensile strength
  • Metal-to-metal support for heavy shock loads
  • Left-hand (L) male thread: 10-32 thread size for use in adjustable linkage assemblies
  • Bore: 3/16 in. (0.1875 in.)
  • Body: Aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, color-anodized red as standard
  • Ball: 52100 bearing steel, heat treated, precision ground, and hard chrome plated
  • Static radial load capacity: 788 lbs.
  • Overall shank length: 1.250 in.; head width: 0.750 in.

The AML3 pairs directly with the AMR3 (right-hand thread) to create a turnbuckle-style adjustable linkage. The red anodized finish provides corrosion protection and easy visual identification. Sold individually.
