Product Details

The Cometic C4478-060 is a high-performance MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for BMW S38B35 and S38B36 inline-six engines. This gasket features Cometic's proprietary construction with multiple layers of stainless steel, providing superior sealing capability and durability under extreme conditions.

Key Features:

 • Multi-Layer Steel construction for maximum strength and reliability
 • 0.060-inch compressed thickness for precise compression control
 • Designed specifically for BMW S38B35 and S38B36 M-Power engines
 • Enhanced sealing properties resist combustion pressure and coolant migration
 • Engineered to handle high boost and elevated cylinder pressures
 • Viton rubber coating on both sides ensures optimal sealing
 • Eliminates gasket failure common with stock composite gaskets

Cometic MLS gaskets are ideal for high-performance street, racing, and forced induction applications. The advanced material construction allows for superior rebound characteristics and maintains consistent clamping force across the entire sealing surface. These gaskets are a direct replacement for OEM head gaskets and require proper surface preparation for optimal performance.

The best price on what I was looking for and fairly fast to get it shipped out considering it was drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. Autoplicity has a huge selection and I will definitely be back when ever I need other automotive parts.

Found Autoplicity through price searching. Best price, easy to navigate site, quick service. Bookedmarked for future use!

I ordered the HuskyLiners 98891 Floor Liners for my 2012 Hyundai Elantra on 5/29, received them 5/31. Order #15417. Apparently they have warehouses all over the country to ensure quick delivery. They had the best price on the net. Item arrived in perfect condition.

Their website needs a little work because I found the item thru Google and not directly from their website. You also can't edit your cart unless you register first which was annoying. Items could use product descriptions - you have to get info from the manufacturer's site. The real-time inventory was a plus.

Deducted a star because their website needs work.

Quick, simple and easy. What a way to shop!

Great prices with fast shipping
