Evolution Motorsports Sport CamShafts have a higher lift (height of valve travel) and longer duration (length of time the valve is open). This increased size / duration helps flow more exhaust gasses on higher power applications. With the increased air being forced into the combustion chamber on high HP / higher boost applications, it is crucial to have higher lift and longer duration cam to eliminate the gasses for lower cylinder temperatures / pressures and increased power. Evolution Motorsports Sport CamShafts increase power and torque through the mid to upper range power band while allowing safe increased revving up to 7600 RPM’s. Increased camshaft flow is a good way to achieve higher power levels and should be combined with other head / engine modifications to achieve optimum results.
